Maple Mysteries Moves Out
My list of mystery novels and series set in Canada has gotten larger than I anticipated. It's time to move out to a place where it has more room to grow. Check it out at https://maplemysteries.ca
When I first started compiling a list of mystery and crime novels set in Canada, I thought it would be a fun thing to host on my site.
So, I built a few templates, and started adding books.
And now, with more than five hundred books in the list, simply having a long list of series and books is ... cumbersome.
It certainly isn't easy to find things there, and the whole point of the list was discoverability.
So, I've moved it to its own home so it has room to breathe and grow, and become as large as it wants to.
It is now live at MapleMysteries.ca.
It'll still need some tweaking. Probably a search function.
And the books still need a local bookstore link and a library search function that actually searches public libraries rather than the worldcat cheat I've used for the time being.
And the Submit form still lives here at my site. I haven't migrated the back-end, and I'm not likely to in the near future.
I've got a book to to finish and Bouchercon to prep for.
