Old City Hall
Kevin Brace, Canada’s most renowned radio personality, stands in his opulent condominium doorway, bloodied hands gripping the doorframe. He turns to his newspaper delivery man and declares, “I killed her.” His wife lies lifeless in the bathtub, a fatal stab wound inflicted upon her. It seems like a straightforward case of murder.
However, Brace refuses to cooperate with anyone, including his own lawyer, after uttering those damning words. The discovery that the victim was a self-destructive alcoholic, the presence of unusual fingerprints at the crime scene, and a courtroom cross-examination that reveals disturbing details all add layers of complexity to the seemingly simple case. It transforms into a heated murder trial.
