Tom Austen travels to Gjoa Haven on a school exchange trip, expecting cultural learning and Arctic adventure. Instead, he stumbles onto a dangerous conspiracy called CanSell, a scheme that could allow Canada’s natural resources to be sold off—or even pave the way for a political union with the United States. As Tom follows clues across the tundra, he becomes entangled with a corrupt Prime Minister, a blackmail plot, coded messages, and a community where trust is built slowly and danger can come from both nature and people.
