Books by Jan Field
Born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario, and the youngest of eleven children, Jan obtained an honours degree in English Literature from Laurentian University and expected to go into teaching. A road not taken.
Instead, she answered a job posting for a manager of an organization representing fishing and hunting resorts and tourist accommodation for Sudbury and surrounding areas. Jan spent seven years in this post, acquiring a deep respect for the fiercely independent tourist operators, along with a little bit of knowledge about running a northern Ontario tourism operation, before leaving for the Big Smoke and another job in tourism.

Jan currently lives in Uxbridge, Ontario with her husband, Blain, and their dog, Raine.
